oh ok. Yeah this is a great script, great forum community too.
I had thought it did do that.. haha well if I can I'll fix that and post an update. but as of now the script just lost the greatest coder ever (its true though Kurt, you know it! lol )

Nope, this was not all my doing, it was a group effort. I just played coordiator pretty good is all. And what little coding I can do is all thanks to the Lord. I'm trying to maintain a little bit of a presence in the boards for a little bit to help out best I can, just kind of hard to do with current family responsibilities is all.

The reason the new ads did not show up right away is the SQL caching. It is set to 15 minutes by default. When the 15 minutes is up, it re reads the database and displays the new info.

What I suggest is to set the cache life in the config file to 1 second while setting up and debugging, then set it back to 15 minutes(900 seconds).

yeah, i saw that somewhere today. i'm really new to this. it's my first website. I never worked with scripts until today, english isn't my native language, so for what i accomplished today i'm content. Also, how do i add google analytics to php? in which file should i place the code?

No, your just a kid. I have kids older than both of you combined.

I think Google needs that code placed in the HTML before the body tag. If so, that would mean it needs to go into the overall template file template.php, in whichever template folder you have set as default. If it ever comes to a point where members can choose their templates like I was aiming for, then it would need to go into the template file in every template folder. But for now, just the folder you have set as the active one.

Thanks for the answer Kurt. i google'd google and found out that for PHP websites you can create another page (i named it analyticstracking.php) and past the code there than upload that to the root folder of the website. So i did that. I'll let you know if it works.

PS: i don't think you have children older than both of us combined. I'm 24.

That's about how old I figured you were. And yes, I have at least one that is older than both of you combined. Getting too old to remember my own age though, let alone the ages of them all, so I won't promise she is the only one older than that lol.

Well than you have been blessed. I'm out. It's 1:30 AM here and i just finished a 24 hour shift. I'm beat. Thank you both for all the help and take care.
