Without the .htaccess file, you have to set it to non SEO in the admin panel for any of the links to work at all.

I can't pull it up right now, it gives an internal error, so I'm assuming you have put the .htaccess file back. You will probably need to delete it in order to make it work with that hosting company. Most errors on the front page when first installed come from not having it setup correctly though. The directories need to have proper permissions set, certain files need to have permissions set, and there must be some games uploaded, and activated, and the categories need to be activated as well.

Just looking at your page now that it comes up, I can tell you that you might have not done a few things. You need to make sure you have permissions set on the directories as per instructions in the zip file. You also need to make sure that your config file is properly edited as well. These look like they are done correctly already, but you should make sure, just in case. It also looks like you have no active games loaded. If you have games loaded, make sure that they have been activated as they are not set active by default when you upload them. This looks like the main thing at this point, but I would have to get into your cPanel to play with it to know for sure. Go make sure your games are set to active. This can be done through the admin panel or through phpMyAdmin.

You might want to check the path setting in the settings table of the database. You should be able to get into your admin section to do this if you have SEO turned off, which it looks like you have done, or through phpMyAdmin.

It also looks as though you are not going to be able to use some of the features such as the users online count, because your hosting appears to refuse to give you permission to access that. Nothing the script can do to change that if they won't, you would need to take it up with them. You might be able to get around it by using the php.ini file, but given the fact that they refuse access to the tmp file, I doubt they have left that option open to you either. If you really want this feature, you might need to try a different host.
