Does 2.0 need to be installed before 2.1 can be installed

Hello I'm new here......

I've downloaded both 2.0 and 2.1 beta and seen that 2.1, is much smaller then 2.0, so my guess is 2.0 needs to be installed first then 2.1.

Is that right or can 2.1, just be installed alone ?

I think 2.1 can be installed without installing 2.0 first. However, there are some changes that have been made to 2.1 since the beta was made available, you might want to hold off on going with 2.1 just yet.

I have not looked it over too close asAdam has taken over the position of coordinating coder, but I suspect that the reason 2.1 beta was a smaller package was that not all of the templates released with 2.0 were included with it. There are large chunks that won't work with the newer version either, so there may not be as many templates released with 2.1. We're trying though.

Still looking for translators if anybody is interested in helping out.

Ok thanks I'll check it out, and see if I can set it up or not, it's not to much to install and reinstall if I need to.
