Copyrights on the GAME?!?!?!

Hey everyone,

I was wondering if anyone new if we can get in trouble if we use games that we didn't make. Such as Max Dirt Bike or something. What are the rules for using games we take from site?

Embedding the game off of a website where it was originally created if they give that option is alright.
Taking and downloading the swf file and thumbnail then adding it to your personal site may be violating copyright laws I believe.

I would just put a little notice at the footer of the site saying:

All flash games on WEBSITE NAME are copyrighted or trademarked by their respective owners or authors.

Most game owners want you to put their games on your site as it advertises their site in those games and they get traffic. Make sure to have a notice that states that the games are not yours but the game owners, and be prepared to remove any if their owners decide to return them to being private.
