Collosal Help Required! Under Huge Confusion
« on: September 27, 2010, 01:55:10 PM »
Hello there

I a novice when it comes down to making websites and doing scripts. I have spend a good 3 hour trying to figure out how to install or add Arcrade Script in my website but failed miserably.

I just don't get it at all! I mean I can't even find some files. I have searched the forum too to see if someone had the same problem but no one did so here I am.

Problem 1) When i downloaded the V2.0 and unzipped it. I could not find the files such as "file /includes/config.php".

Problem 2) I do not understand the "FAS directory" bit either!

Could you please elaborate as much as you can since I am complete beginner in this stuff!

I highly appreciate that you guys are helping us newbs out, and I wish you the best of luck in your plans and Thank you very much for any help in advance.

Kind Regards

Hello,
1) The file "config.php" should be in the includes folder if it is not, redownload the zip and check to see if the file is there before unzipping it.
2) Not sure what you're referring to.

If you would I like you can PM your cpanel login details and I can help you set it up?

I have found that folder. I have done most of things. I have uploaded everything on my website one by one.

Now I am struggling to edit the install.php file on my hosting webpage. When i go to my website www.loosegame.com/install.php the web browser says the page cannot be found. Do you know what is it that i have done wrong.

try setting permission to 777 on the install file? That may work.

again, if you feel comfortable with me setting up your site I am willing to do so. Just PM me your login details.

Also it looks like you have another script running on the same site... that may be messing things up.

The install.php file should be deleted once the script has been installed anyways.
