Could be done, but at a cost in CPU resources. It would add to the amount of SQL quiries done, which would mean more hosting horsepower, which raises the price tag fr hosting. Most people who are looking for this type of script want to get by on shared hosting, even after it grows a bit, which means the script needs to be less of a system hog.

A system of high scores is something already being thought out, but is probably going to have to wait till we have had a chance to work on the database access. Something like this might be something we could insert along with it, so we'll keep it in mind as we wrk on it.
