Finally got internet back!!
I'll be busy for a few days though, gotta get a good domain name for a new site of mine and then gotta purchase some hosting.
It took me a week to find a couple good domains and then when I got internet back and checked em again, they were taken

Umm about the registration thing on the forum.. I did suggest to Robbie 3 or 4 months ago about installing a mod that would keep known spammers from signing up, but didn't look like he installed it. I went ahead and installed it though.. looks like the mod doesn't work the way I wanted it to.
I wanted it to deny any signups coming from any logged spammers ips. It allows them to signup but you have to fish out what ones are spam and then remove it. Its pretty stupid lol.
So currently what I have been doing is matching the signup ips with the registered spamming ips on a website I found and if it comes up that they are spammers I deny the request. Then of course the other ones I approve.
It does take me a while to approve users lol so I will look to see if that mod is fixed up or what. I would build one myself but just not enough time. Plus I haven't coded anything for SMF in years and I bet ya everything has changed.

Soo yeah I am gunna go check on that mod right now and see what I can do. I'll post back asap when I find a better way to approve signups. I think a mix of captcha and that mod I was talking about would work great. I know someone who used that mod just a couple months ago and he said it works perfect. Used to get spam all the time just loads of it and now he gets maybe one signup or post of spam in two weeks or so.

When I got back on here a few weeks ago there were a load of new registrations, in the twenties or thirties I believe.
